il 340x270.965220378 81ycThis is a gorgeous strand of long rectangular Carnelian gemstone, finely cut and drilled, with sizes ranging from approx. 10x20 mm at the smallest to approx. 15x32 mm. at the largest. Hole is approx. 3 mm. There are 21 beads on this strand.

This is an excellent example of German Idar-Oberstein stonework which was traded in Mali and West Africa in the 1800s. Truly beautiful, rich caramel-colored beads - they would add delicious elements to your bold ethnic, boho or tribal designs.

pink tinyThis is another of our FAVORITE items in the shop -- a gorgeous strand of delicate pink, natural untreated Peruvian Opal beads. They are faceted for a delightful sparkle! Each is approx. 6 mm. and there are 90 beads on a 17" (approx.) strand. Break them up and use a touch of gold for earrings, or string them together for a stunning necklace!

vaseIt was love at first sight when we saw this natural gemstone pendant with its rough, bone-like quality and the delicious rich purple color. It paired so perfectly with the natural amethyst chips, pink crystal beads, and the delicate light brown hishi beads on the back edges. There are even a couple of tiny turquoise chip beads thrown in for good measure. Just a beautiful piece -- hard to translate via photographs, but believe us, this one is truly special.

rareThese beautiful beads were made in the mid 1800's. This shape and design were specifically known as "King Beads". Although they were made in Venice, these particular beads were actually traded into Africa where they were popular. Total length of strand is approx 30 inches and there are 50 beads ranging from approx. 5 mm. to 20 mm. in width. The holes are approx. 3 - 4 mm.You will receive the exact beads you see pictured here. They are temporarily strung and meant to be used in your own jewelry creations. Don't forget to use CODE 14123 at checkout for your 20% DISCOUNT!
